Food is ok. Nothing good or bad. The place is pretty dirty. There are people who work there but not sure what they do since they don't serve food, take orders, or serve any drinks. If you want okay food at expensive prices, this is the place for you.

Hillman Beer on Sweeten Creek Road in Asheville is one of our favorite places to stop in whenever we're visiting Western North Carolina. The atmosphere is casual and inviting (and dog friendly!), the staff are very friendly, the beer selection is great, and the food is fantastic. Our most recent visit was on a Wednesday. Hubby enjoyed the Wednesday Burger Special (burger, choice of side, choice of beer) and I had the Rice Bowl with grilled chicken. As usual, everything was great. So glad they were able to re-open after Hurricane Helene. Stop in and support this great local business!

Loves the service and the beer. The wings and burger were quite good as well! I'm a bit picky about my burger buns and these were top notch. I feel like the burger could have been a little thicker or the bun a little smaller but all in all it was a pretty great flavor mixture

Oh this place is a gem! Our team came out upon recommendation to Hillman’s and we weren’t disappointed. Great selection beer that folks enjoyed….. but the food was SO DELICIOUS. The chicken sandwhich was fabulous. Nice crispy breading with succulent chicken…so much better than expected. I unfortunately devoured it before I took a photo. But wife ordered the sourdough grilled cheese. It has spinach, Swiss cheese, & tomato. She loved it. Kids got hamburger and bread pudding. Everyone enjoyed their meals! Fries and chips were homemade too! Lot’s of seating for big groups. Plenty of shaded seats outside. In the back of the building there is seating next to a stream for a quieter, relaxed spot to enjoy beverages and food.

Great spot. Had the falafel wrap with kale salad. Fantastic - would have again. Drank a BPA - perfect for a patio late lunch.

Located in the Biltmore Village area of Asheville, Hillman Brewing proved to be a wonderful surprise in our 2025 brewery tour. Delicious food and tasty beers made our visit perfect. Well behaved dogs are always welcome and a welcoming atmosphere make you feel so comfortable. Outdoor seating along the creek is available as well as plenty of spots inside. The wings and pimento cheese dip were both delicious. A must visit while in Asheville. Enjoy!

We have been to all the hillman’s over the years, Biltmore, Old Fort and Morganton but the service and attention we get from Nate and the servers in Biltmore is absolutely phenomenal, besides having great beer and food Nate always welcomes us and strives to make sure we are happy and taken care of!!! 10 stars to Nate. Please keep him around heis Hillman thru and thru!
