Came here on a Monday night and found it to be trivia night. Had a lot of fun. The bartender was awesome!!! Nice Irish bar with lots of room. Very clean. I'll be back for sure. We had a couple of appetizers, and they were great!

Excellence service; staff make you feel welcome and make certain you have what you need.Food delicious and reasonably priced for the quality.Tempeh Reuben with coleslaw and mashed potatoes filling.Introduced to Guinness Zero and found it a first class beer that goes well with my meal.Live band at 9 pm, which I would have stayed for if I had not had prior appointment

Got to stop by Jack of the woods while visiting Asheville and it might be the highlight of my visit! We went on fork night and the power of a live band is hard to beat! Along with a well stocked bar homemade root beer and not to mention the delicious food. If you get a chance in Asheville definitely check out Jack of the Wood!

Jesse in Asheville remains an essential part of my road trip experience from Orlando, embodying the exceptional service that makes visiting her a road trip tradition. Her dedication and warmth have become as much a tradition as the open road itself. However, I've noticed a 3% kitchen gratuity added to the bill, which raises questions. While I understand the importance of supporting all staff, I hope this isn't indicative of broader financial constraints that could impact the quality of hospitality essentials. It's a bittersweet note in an otherwise delightful visit."

This place is a solid 3-3.2 Good spot for some music. It is way over priced, drinks and food, they keep jacking them up... Food is good for being a bar, mostly organic. This place is tied to the Laughing Seed which is over priced also but all vegan.Parking: Terrible to find cheap parking and on street parking on the weekends is very slim.

SO fun! The drop in style music performances were great. Good food! Husband had the Guinness Stew and I had crab cakes and brussel sprouts. Unexpectedly gourmet for a bar. Go there!

We love the vibe and friendliness and music and French fries. OMG THE HAND CUT FRENCH FRIES! This is a fun place to stop and chill.

While walking up to the front door I was skeptical because it looked pretty sketchy and dirty....we entered and the place didn't look very inviting and they seemed to be short staffed. It took quite a while to finally get a waiter to come over. We quickly ordered and right before we got our food we realized the crowd was there for a trivia night which was very loud. Once it began we couldn't have a conversation because we couldn't hear each other!! We quickly ate our food and left!! The food was good but I wouldn't recommend.

It's awesome! I went for late night drinks with great live music two nights in a row and bluegrass brunch during a bachelor party weekend. Great service (shoutout Rachel) and great food this historical gem of Asheville.
