Karen was kind enough to create our cake and dessert table at our wedding! She created the most beautiful and delicious spread. Our guests raved about it, and we were delighted. We gave no specifics and told Karen that we trusted her vision. She crafted the entire table complete with greenery, and worked with our planner to create a surprise "dessert room" that was revealed after dinner. Everything was delicious and we could not have been happier!

Karen made the most delicious and gorgeous cake for my in-laws 50th wedding anniversary celebration. I gave very basic design parameters and she made us something stunning. Her piping skills are incredible! It was so elegant and classic - so beautiful we hated to cut it. My in-laws were so surprised and loved it. It was also one of the best tasting cakes we all have ever had.

Bonus: Karen is probably one of the most kind-hearted ladies I have ever met. The whole ordering and pick-up process was so easy! Her cake shop is beautiful as well. Do not hesitate to use her for your special events and occasions.

We were lucky to have Karen Donatelli provide delicious cakes and desserts for our wedding. We had a wonderful experience, starting with the testing where we felt welcomed into her studio, she and her staff were very courteous hosts and there was close attention to detail. We felt right at home, and left knowing exactly what we wanted for the big day. On the day of the wedding, Karen came personally to set up a wonderful presentation of the cakes and assorted desserts, and took care of every detail. The cakes themselves were a delight - in contradistinction to many wedding cakes we’ve had, these didn’t rely on frosting to carry them through. They had a great light texture and rich but balanced flavors that our guests really enjoyed. The desserts were also scrumptious. Her talents as a baker and commitment to her clients stand out. We recommend her without hesitation.

There is no better baker in the business than Karen!!! She is not only an unbelievably lovely person, but she is beyond talented. She puts so much love into her creations and makes every couple feel genuinely loved. My husband and I enjoyed every moment of planning our wedding cake with her! The tasting was delightful and she went above and beyond for us. You will not be disappointed with her delicious baked goods! We love Karen!!!

Karen made a small, personal cake for just my (now) wife and I to have at our wedding. We chose her because we knew she would make a beautiful cake, which she did. What we didn't expect, was how amazingly delicious this cake would be as well. Sometimes you sacrifice taste for beauty, absolutely not with Karen. I'd have eaten the entire cake right then and there if I could have. Decadent and gorgeous.

We had the pleasure of having Donna prepare our wedding cake for us and it was such a delight! Not only is she easy to work with, but her cake tasted amazing!!We wanted a really simple cake in terms of design and Donna delivered. While the design was really simple, the flavors were not! All of our guest enjoyed the cake and so did we :)She also was very flexible to work with and was able to accommodate preparing 2 small sugar free cakes for some family members who are diabetic. They were able to join in on the cake with us and said it was delicious!!

Karen truly works magic with her cakes and pastries. We have enjoyed her pastries for years when her shop was downtown, so it was natural for us to want to book her for our wedding. She went above and beyond for the private tasting and managed to skillfully and carefully execute our wedding cakes with my many food allergies/restrictions. We absolutely loved both cakes (tiramisu wedding cake and vegan traditional almond wedding cake with berries) and many guests raved about how the cakes were delicious and moist, unlike most cakes served at weddings. The service the day of the wedding (and her holding our separate frozen top layer to pick days later is clutch!) was stellar. Being from out of town, we had hoped for a little bit more communication when we came in for the tasting, but she still stuck to her word and everything was executed as promised. We couldn't have been happier with our cakes!

All I can say is wow ? the custom tiramisu birthday cake we had made was flawless. The taste? Perfect. Thank you Karen for helping us celebrate another birthday!

I can’t say enough good things about Karen! Wonderful and straightforward communication. Cake pickup was easy. Karen greeted me and immediately made me feel very welcomed, she was so kind and gave me some cake cutting tips!The cake was the best my husband and I have ever had- so delicious, moist, and flavorful. I made the choice to leave the design up to Karen, since she is the artist, and was just delighted to have received such a beautiful cake clearly decorated with such care.I loved getting to surprise my partner for his 27th birthday.
