Food is great but it would be even better if they followed health department guidelines and didn’t allow animals especially animals getting on their tables!!!

Generous portions, beautifully presented yummy food, extensive menu, complimentary street corn appetizer, wonderful, attentive staff, and a friendly and personable owner. The gentleman in the kitchen or top shelf! What's not the love? Go there soon!

Keep this quiet. They feed you really well here. The food is excellent and the service is wonderful. I did not take pictures that night, because I was starving and did not want to waste any time eating everything. This is a Southern Mexican restaurant that is loyal to their heritage and wonderful to customers. Please don't tell everyone, or we will have to wait at the door.

It is so great to have all the delicious gluten free choices clearly indicated on the menu.

The short time between online order and pickup was remarkable.

The food was very tasty.

Authentic and elevated Mexican cuisine. This is not Tex Mex. La Rumba has amazing Mexican food. First time trying the Fuego Cerviche and Baja Shrimp tacos both were outstanding. Highly recommend both. Looking forward to next visit to get the short ribs and the puffy sandwich. Friendly and attentive staff. Do yourself a favor and try La Rumba- you won’t be disappointed.

Came here on a Sunday afternoon while in East Asheville. We ordered empanadas and adobo pork. Though flavors were very good, nothing that we received was very hot. Temperature wise. We did not say anything. We just are going to bring it home and heat it up properly. I'll definitely try again at some point in the future.

We got the bowl of flavors with beef asada (shown) and another with chorizo! Both were phenomenal and the meat was so, so delicious! They come with two sides (we got the platanos, side salad with cilantro dressing, nopales, and charro beans) and all were great! The portions are really great and with their lunch menu, this was all $14 (before tip and tax), and they also gave us street corn to start!
