Amazing little establishment

We stopped here on a Sunday morning looking for a great breakfast and although the menu was small, the food more than exceeded our expectations. My husband had the duck hash. We have eaten duck at many different locations and many different ways, I can honestly say this was some of the best duck we’ve ever had. I had the sourdough pancake, added scrambled eggs and bacon for an additional price. Bacon was $4 and scrambled eggs $3.50 extra additional price on top of the already $13 pancake. If I was being really critical of price in this instance, I would say that was probably too expensive. I feel like the pancake, albeit large, should have at least came with a choice of one side. Regardless, I would not remove a star for the price because the food was so good. The scrambled eggs were hands down the best scrambled eggs I’ve ever had at a restaurant. Secondly, the bacon was cooked to perfection. Thirdly, the pancake was absolutely amazing, totally different than your average run of the mill pancake, this was a sourdough pancake. Incredibly delicious. Even though I felt the price was just a little steep, I would definitely eat here again, and I would highly recommend this place to anyone visiting the area and looking for a good breakfast. Also, my husband and I both got a hot latte and they were great. One thing I would caution: be sure and see what time the restaurant opens and if you are wanting to eat early, I would arrive 10 minutes or more early and start lining up as seating is extremely limited and the whole time we were eating people were lined up outside waiting to be seated. I felt like this was the case with several restaurants in Asheville, so keep this in mind while traveling in the area.

I've never been in line before and changed my mind to divert to a pancake but wow. The sourdough pancake is awesome. Parking isn't great and line is typically out the door at least when I go but not really any fault of their own. Definitely a spot I enjoy in town in a beautiful area.

Good food and coffee. The patio seems nice and has a couple of heaters, but they are pretty weak. It would helpful either if they were stronger, better placed, or if the patio had some kind of plastic mobile barrier for the cold months because it does get windy here. Because of limited seating, making the patio more comfortable would go a long way for this business.

Always a great meal and an excellent outdoor dining experience around a garden in a quiet neighborhood. The sourdough pancake is ??. The coffees are delicious. One of our faves for breakfast/lunch in Asheville.

A nice little neighborhood Cafe. Parking can be challenging though on weekends but there is a new dedicated paying lot if desperate.

They used to have mellow jazz music on Sunday mornings which was okay. This is recently changed to bands on Sundays which are too loud for the location. I moved as far away from the band as possible and I still was not able to talk without yelling.

Great food and coffee! Only recommendation I would have is that the back patio space needs some ceiling fans for air circulation and to help disperse flying critters. Otherwise it's a great location for a coffee/lunch hang with friends or to crank out some remote work.
