Visited on my most recent trip to Asheville and was probably one of the best meals on the trip. We got a variety of different arepas(including a vegetarian), yucca fries and corn fritters. The yucca fries were by far my favorite of the sides, the vegetarian arepa was delicious but would have been a little elevated by a crunchy element. My sister got the Ropa Vieja and thought it was delish but would have liked a fresh element to top the dish like cabbage. The Pernil arepa was also a favorite but a little more sauce on the top would have put the dish over the top! Overall, definitely worth a trip but don’t be surprised if you have to wait a couple minutes for a seat as there is limited seating inside. Service was great and they were very attentive.
All i have to say is that my boyfriend and I came here twice in one night. We had dinner at another restaurant prior to stopping by since we knew they weren’t open on Sunday (our last day in town). We each ordered a chorizo arepa which was my favorite. We were stuffed and left to get drinks at anecdote. We made our way back to get a pernil arepa to share before walking home. Hands-down the best food we had on our trip to Asheville.

We had a wonderful experience with Little Chango. The staff was kind and considerate. Food was wonderful. We had the pork shoulder arepa and a couple of sides. The arepa was delicious and I cannot wait to come back!
Seating is tight but they deliver to a couple locations close by.
Delicious food & beer! Would enjoy visiting on a warm day to try the outdoor seating. Will love to go back again.

The workers at this restaurant are so sweet. I love their vegetarian option, the jibara pernil. YUM. I usually don’t like plantains, but they are perfect in this dish!! Their Auga de Jamaica is so delicious and refreshing. I’ve never eaten with someone here who didn’t love it.
