The brisket was dry but they gave us 2 banana puddings to make up for it.
Never been much of a bbq sandwich fan but the brisket sandwich was absolutely amazing and our server Henry managed to serve our entire group without issue. In the past I’ve had issues when going to a restaurant with this large of a group (14 people) but the service here was unmatched.
When the whole fam is happy, you found a good spot to visit again. A great burnt ends sandwich, big and delicious Cobb salad, and unique tasty deviled eggs.
Luella’s has to be one of the best customer service restaurants in all of Asheville. My family regularly dines at Luella’s. The food is always on point, the staff is friendly and attentive. The vibes are always good. Best barbecue in the area too!
Great BBQ with awesome side items available. Great service and comfortable atmosphere even at the busy times
Everything we ordered was served rather fast and tasted great. The staff was very attentive and helpful. We will definitely go the next time we're in Ashville.
Excellent food and service
Good food good service five stars across the board if you’re passing through definitely stop here
Visited this place last weekend, and had a really disappointing meal. 3 meat sampler (pulled chicken, ribs, brisket), and all three were very overcooked. Collard greens were great, but M&C was basic as anything.
Great BBQ food!

Luella’s pulled pork is absolutely delicious! It’s hands down some of the best I’ve ever had. Super tender and full of flavor. A definite go-to if you’re craving top-notch barbecue. Highly recommend!
Best pulled pork I have ever eaten. I wished they had a place in South Carolina. I had collards and Okra with the pulled pork. My wife and I both thought it was excellent!
Sign outside said “we are going vegetarian” which turned out to be a joke. Fries were hard, collards had meat, staff was clueless. With Romeo’s vegan burger up the street there is no good reason to go here.
Nice environment good music food was amazing tried the brisket and wings
There was out of wings, but the customer service was great. Food is delicious. Zack is the best.
