We had been to a different location in the past that was impressive. Unfortunately this location was a bit of a letdown. The food came out cold and the chicken fatty. At least the hush puppies were good. The prices were to be expected for this area. We will definitely not be back to this location.

This was our first visit to Luella's, but it will certainly not be our last. We made the trip to Asheville to visit REI and decided to give Luella's a try since it was close by, and it turned out to be a great choice. The food was great and the service was excellent. It was a 5 star visit in every way.
Absolutely delicious! The brisket and pulled pork were equally appetizing. Good portions for the price. The deviled eggs with pickles onions are amazing! 10/10

Great bbq! Pork was a little dry but the brisket was incredible. Service was really great. Love that they give you hush puppies with every meal, and they are really good too!Easy parking in a free deck just behind the restaurant. Will be back next time we are in Ashville.
