I’ve been to this location MANY times, and it’s ALWAYS good. My most recent venture was not the greatest, but more good times than bad. This time I ordered a BBQ chicken pizza, and while the flavor was right, the lack of appropriately sized chicken pieces and bacon is notable. Also, we got 15 wings and they were off by a noticeable drum to flat ratio (each of us prefers a different one). So one of us was shorted on the wings we like so much. I will definitely be back, and hopefully things get sorted before then.

First stop in, really good. Tons of gluten free options and great wings. Bunch of beer options as well. Service was great. We got there early so it was instant seating. Fun interior design… funky decor.

Mellow Mushroom has really good food and the designs are really fun and unique at each location. So the only complaint is the service and how long the food took at this location.
We had a waitress come and take our drink order then another waiter came over and was telling her that it was his table and she needed to leave. Mind you, it was in the front of the entrance in front of everybody walking in, that he decided to take the drinks from her and tell her she’s not having our table. The food then took a very long time to come out.
I went here with my brother, and had the blessing of good weather to sit in the outdoor area. Outdoor seating is fixed under a fence material that has trees woven into it, providing a canopy of shade in warmer months. My brother and I had it to ourselves for the majority of our dinner there. Filo was our waiter, and he was attentive and accommodating to our needs. My brother had to catch the bus at a certain time and when I expressed this to Filo, he immediately retrieved the check and returned with a box that I didnt think to request. The box was unnecessary however because there was no pizza left! We had the buffalo chicken with ranch, as a medium and it was more than enough for 2 people. Filo even returned to refill drinks after I paid the check, and I felt it was an above and beyond action. Thanks team at mellow, and to Filo for a pleasant dinner out with my brother. It was meaningful for us in many ways, as the year before at that same time I could have imagined being there with him sharing that moment. Mellow keeps Asheville weird!

Both my wife & I ordered from this location last night. We now both have confirmed cases of food poisoning. Other locations are great this one clearly lacks proper food handling techniques & food safety. Havent been this sick in forever we both are headed to the hospital this morning.
