Don’t really understand the hype with this place. Ordered a Thai basil fried rice which was mediocre and lacked flavor. The mango sticky rice was like a soup and tasted so bad.

Don't get the Peking Duck Ramen. The duck was just large chunks of bone with virtually no edible meat. Super disappointing as it's the most expensive ramen.

Everything else the group got looked good. So get anything else but the duck Ramen.

I believe the owner of YZ Asian Market (attached to Mizu) and his brother also run this Ramen-ya! I've gone to Japan multiple times just to eat ramen there and I also make many different styles of authentic ramen myself from scratch, including the noodles. Ramen is a personal hobby and passion of mine.

So... When I say this place makes good ramen, you can trust my opinion!!

Their broth is authentic. They do it properly by boiling the bones for long amounts of time to break down the collagen which gives it that delicious flavor and renders out all that fat that coats your lips. I had the Tonkotsu, which is made from pork bones. I'm not sure which bones specifically they used, but the balance of it felt like a mixture of mostly femur and knuckle bones with some trotters thrown in for that bit of thickening from the collagen maybe?

All of the additions to the ramen were well prepared. Even the takoyaki was wonderful! Always get the takoyaki.

They make everything from scratch but the noodles. Nobody makes noodles from scratch. It's extremely labor intensive and requires special equipment. Ain't nobody got time for that!

Except me of course, but that's only because you can't get fresh ramen noodles unless you're a ramen shop. I'm also just that crazy about making ramen ;)

This place gets their noodles delivered fresh by truck from Atlanta. Forgot to ask the brand, but they taste like Sun noodles. It's always Sun noodles usually. They supply the majority of ramen shops and will actually create specific noodles for many of the shops based ingredients and hydration ratios supplied to them by those ramen shops.

I come here at least once to twice a month and have been working my way down the menu. This has easily become my favorite restaurant and I drive close to an hour just to eat here. I recommend anything with pork belly/chashu. The peking duck buns are delicious. The dish the surprised me most was the Bangkok chicken with how huge the portion was. The takoyaki is really good even my nephew who swears he hates fish liked this eventhough it does have a strong fish smell it doesn't have a strong fish taste. The red curry quickly became my favorite, I try not to order it every time so I can try everything else. I always get my meal with a Thai tea. Everyone here is always so nice and friendly.

Been here several times now, I've tried different types of Ramen every time. The food quality is excellent. Veggies are always very fresh, the broth is so delicious. We are always excited to go to Mizu now. I always leave very satisfied, there just isn't a better deal in town. The pork belly is amazingly tender and flavorful!

Their online ordering didn’t give me any indication it submitted, no text or email. I backed out of the order to add a drink and resubmitted 15 mins later. They made both orders which was over 80$ and only refunded me 20$ because it was already made and they couldn’t give it to another customer. Food is usually good but will not be ordering for pickup again. If something submitted twice under the same name for nearly the same order, you would think the restaurant would call to confirm.

Really overly sweet entrées that were not supposed to be sweet and served cold.
