I am sad to see the decline in food quality of this restaurant. I know western NC has struggled since the hurricane. Went on a recent tuesday at lunch with my husband. Prices have skyrocketed but food is not good. Chicken and dumplings made with what tasted like canned chicken, water, no broth or cream, 2 small dumplings not completely cooked. My husbands food salty and not good. At check out they were not very receptive. I would love for them to do well but they must improve...read full review

We were a party of 8...in the summer...around lunchtime...so it was crowded but we were seated quickly..had biscuits right away and our food came out quickly...portions were huge..(.I think the meatloaf slice was a pound of beef by itself.)..Staff were courteous and helpful with our wheelchair and walkers.food was reasonably priced... our only "negative" comment would be that some desserts ran out :( but everything else was great!

I just had the Breakfast Combo. The blueberry pancakes were horrible, the pancake was cold, the blueberries were nasty. The grits was cold, I didn't like them either. My eggs were cold but good so was the bacon. The sausage was fried too hard. If I hadn't eaten here before I never would come back. Still reluctant.
