Our food was fantastic and the space is lovely and feels European, but with all the hard surfaces it's incredibly loud in that small cafe. Having to yell to your dining companions, who are about 18 inches away, is fatiguing. Like, restaurants can have a good vibe without being deafening. Too cool for school is the vibe here. Clearly obvious to most, just take a look at the reviews. The counter folks act like they work at the Smithsonian or Sotheby’s or something, they thumb their nose at you, never smile, never say hello, never say thank you, it’s just ridiculous. It’s like an episode of Portlandia or something. And this happens EVERY TIME. They have really good sourdough bread, congrats. Let’s see if that lets you survive...
Cool spot! Food was beautiful! Bread was amazing! All the servers were lovely! Moe was ours and she was so delightful! I had the French Omelette for breakfast and I ordered the Jambon Beurre Baguette to eat for lunch. Both meals were top notch!
