Great fish and chips
Absolutely perfect fish and chips. Loved the silky cod, and the Old Bay on the fries.

Easily the best sea food in Asheville. Don't walk, run in to get the best po-boy I've had in NC. The hush puppies are incredible and the local made sodas are a wonderful touch. I will be back, as quickly as I can!

The lobster roll is my favorite. The shrimp basket is awesome, too. Love yum yum 😋
Excellent!!! Oh, the fish and chips…crispy light battered and perfect. Then shopping afterward because there are fabulous homemade salads, pastas and soups….just go!

Finally made it to Mother Ocean for lunch! My husband and I split the fish and chips. It was plenty for two people. Three large pieces of the flakiest best fish I’ve had anywhere! Great fries, great coleslaw …..will definitely be back again.
Excelente Food and service, love it
I had lunch here with my husband and we ordered the oyster basket and oyster poboy. Both were great! We also ordered items to go, including a garden salad with fried halibut. I’m pretty sure the fish I got wasn’t halibut, but it was fish, and it was good! Thanks for the friendly service. We look forward to returning on our next trip to « A town. «
Amazing fish and chips- the batter is perfection! Nice selection of fresh fish, pasta, and spices. Knowledgeable and friendly people too!
This restaurant has some of the best sefood in town, both eat in and take out. Unfortunately, the french fries are awful. Undercooked and soggy rather than crispy. The cole slaw is fine, but the portion is tiny. Be prepared for very hard chairs. They probably don't want people to linger since there are only a few seats. So, overall, go for the seafood and be tolerant of everything else.
