One of the people inside greeted me with Salam, and I knew this place was going to be good. Ordered 2 skewers of lamb and chicken kabob each. Meat was tender. Rice was flavorful. The veggies and salad were surprisingly good and refreshing. Baba ghanouj was excellent. The food was ready In 15 minutes, and the portions were great for the price.

Unfortunately, we didn’t enjoy the food. They had run out of rice, which was somewhat understandable given it was close to closing time. However, when I asked for a small side dish like hummus, the request was declined and I was told it would cost extra, which was disappointing.

A must try in Asheville! One of the best Mediterranean places you’d have around here. Their Hummus is exceptional. The Chicken Kabob platter, falafel and beef shawarma were delicious as well.
