can't say I know anything about piri piri chicken, but this was fantastic. chicken is extremely moist and flavorful all the way through. potato salad was nice and garlicky, corn pudding was super wet and eggy (how it should be). skipped breakfast today and was still full enough to have a hard time finishing my beer. and apparently the chicken is local too. considering all that, plus the fact that it's downtown, it's a pretty good deal too. I'll be back!

Great locally sourced, ethically raised chicken. It’s a really good price for all of the food you get. The corn pudding is amazing. When we went, it was “fried chicken Friday” so all of the plates came with a fried option as well. The staff were extremely pleasant and helpful. I definitely recommend checking out this new spot.

Wow. I will be dreaming of this chicken. This is a fast, casual eatery in the restaurant row of Grove Arcade. You order at the counter, get a number, and they deliver your fresh grub on a tray to your table. The inside is on the small side but there are a number of tables outside as well. Totally kid-friendly, dog-friendly, and straight up delish. The worker at the counter was friendly and helpful and the food came out pretty quickly and nice and hot. I ordered Chicken Breast Plate with potato salad and cornbread pudding. This chicken deserves multiple "Yums!" The skin is crisp and so dang well-seasoned. The meat inside super tender with some of the seasoning flavor seeping in. The baby potatoes in the salad were perfectly cooked and the dressing not too mayo-y-just coating the potatoes but did not seem heavy. The cornbread made me feel at home and definite Thanksgiving vibes. Super tasty. My friend got the salad with chicken and said it was possibly the best salad she's ever had. She ate the whole thing (which is rare) and made lots of food moan noises throughout. ;-) Also rare...we didn't talk much during our meal because our mouths were stuffed. I will definitely be back here when in Asheville again.

We visited the Arcade on a very cold weekend when a lot was closed downtown. We were starving so decided to give this place a try, not thinking we'd like it much. Boy were we wrong! My two teenagers and I loved it!We had the chicken burger and the chicken salad roll. Both were fabulous and unique! I don't think we have had piri-piri before and didn't realize we were getting it here, but next time we go to Asheville, we will def hit this place again. So yummy! Also, hats off to the staff. They were friendly and masked. Limited tables inside. Very cute place.

Omg!! Was stalking this place on Instagram for months before my visit and was NOT disappointed! First, customer service was great! I got the half chicken with dirty rice and potato salad... everything was fresh and extremely flavorful. I never eat potato salad outside of my family's, but this was delish! The chicken tho! It was bomb! Wrapped it in the pita bread and almost ate my fingers it was so good! And I had some type of raisin-coconut cookie that was bomb as well. This is definitely a go-to if you're in Asheville! Sorry, no pic... had to take a taste before I could snap one!

Nani's is in the Grove Arcade and is a great location for takeout. The online ordering system works well. There are a few seats inside, and you can also grab a table in the Common area of the Arcade. I had the chicken salad melt and it was absolutely delicious. I also had the green bean salad which is served cold with crisp beans and onions and peppers. The thick cut chips that come with the sandwich have a delightful crunch to them. Highly recommend getting the buttermilk dressing. It goes great with the Piri Piri chicken & na'an. The portions are huge and the spicy chicken is heavenly!

I ordered Nani's holiday dinner for Christmas Eve and I am so happy I did. The portions was generous, the instructions were dummy proof, and it all came beautifully packaged. It reheated well and looked professional while tasting like it was made with care:a full roasted bird, beautifully moist and liberally coated in spices 5/5a sweet potato casserole with crunchy oat topping, not too sweet 5/5a sausage chestnut stuffing (dressing) that didn't make it to the table due to the QA tester going overboard (me) 5/5six beautiful rolls, golden and soft like round croissants 6/5green bean casserole, but better 5/5corn pudding, simply perfection 6/5cranberry relish & cranberry sauce 5/5i love to cook, but why bother when you can get food this good for $60 to feed four grown adults without the stress? more time for booze and enjoying the night. A+

Dang! The this place was amazing, the chicken burger was so juicy and flavorful. Added the bacon and did not disappoint! The chips with that silky seasoning put bbq chips to shame!

I am conflicted. Is this Mediterranean or Hindi? A mix of both? We visited Ash and my friend swore by this restaurant . We came and the health code was 99 or 100 so right off I got excited. Now! I ordered the dark meat chix for my kid and I. I know they cook with heavy spices but this looked and felt over cooked and the chicken did not taste fresh. My friend told me the same of her chicken. The corn casserole was delicious and the service very very friendly. Small but very clean place. I really wanted to like it but doubt Ill come back.

Finally got a chance to stop into Nani's to pick up a Barn Box for the family for dinner. Everything was so great, so fresh, so well seasoned. The Joyce Farms chickens are not your usual sad, tiny grocery store chickens. The corn pudding and green bean salad were our favorite sides. Looking forward to stopping back in for a chicken burger and some piri piri chips.

Joyce Farms RULES! Eat local chicken!Great sandwiches. Love the slightly spicy chips! The potato salad is mayo heavy but totally delish, great texture. The dried cranberries in the chicken salad are a nice touch. Quick service, my order was ready in ten minutes with no waiting in line. My bf really enjoyed the Chicken Melt.Bonus points: recyclable bags & compostable containers

Great experience, friendly staff, and delicious food! The spices they used were on point and made every bit enjoyable. I'll be going back for this melt on a weekly basis!

the young woman working the counter was very friendly, which is always a great start . . . . I was pleasantly surprised to find out that the delicious chicken burger is actually ground rather than just a chicken breast filet on a bun and the chips are homemade and very good also
