Not the great restaurant we remember from 15 years ago. Had to ask them to remove an item from the bill that we asked for but they never brought (or explained why). Open Table took our reservation but when we got there they said they did not take reservations. Charming location, just not up to the old standard when Rachel Ray "discovered" it. Could be again. Please try.
Went to try dinner menu because of long lines during breakfast and lunch. It was a ghost town on Friday night. Ambience was plain and boring. Service was great, very friendly staff. We ordered the catfish and friend chicken. We both preferred the chicken, it was juicy and flavorful with perfect gravy on top. We had coleslaw and Mac and cheese as sides. Both were fantastic.
The cheese plate was a wonderful selection of cheese, fruit, nuts, and toast slices. The barbecue sandwich was dry and no extra sauce was provided. The meatloaf was great! The alcohol prices were reasonable. However, the decor was bland and boring.
