Oyster House Brewing Company in Asheville was excellent. The drinks were great, the food was delicious, and everything we ordered felt fresh and well prepared.
We had the shrimp po’ boy, raw Blackberry oysters on the half shell, oyster shooters with vodka, homemade lemonade, deviled eggs topped with fried oysters, and the grilled trout dish. The deviled eggs with fried oysters were a standout and a really memorable dish. The grilled trout was phenomenal and easily one of the highlights of the meal. The oysters were fresh and tasty, the po’ boy was very good, and the oyster shooters were a fun addition. The homemade lemonade was also delicious and a nice touch.
Overall, this was a great stop in Asheville for seafood, drinks, and a relaxed meal. I would definitely recommend it, especially for oysters, seafood plates, creative small plates, and a good bar experience.

Delicious food! The clam chowder is a must! The fried shrimp basket and fish n chips were also great.

Perfect low key spot for delicious seafood.

Oysters were gone before pics. Fried catfish po'boy, gumbo, and grilled trout over asparagus are phenomenal.

Perfectly mixed cocktails and some pretty good beer.

Prices are fair, portions are generous, and staff is attentive.

Hemingway quotes: As I ate the oysters with their strong taste of the sea and their faint metallic taste that the cold white wine washed away, leaving only the sea taste and the succulent texture, and as I drank their cold liquid from each shell and washed it down with the crisp taste of the wine, I lost the empty feeling and began to be happy and to make plans.

Yup! Except we enjoyed a cold draft and fries to accompany our oysters.

The dozen oysters on the menu vary by location. Yarah selected what she felt were the best of the best! 2 selections from Massachusetts and one other…. I’ll remember.. all varied in flavor and salinity, all OUTSTANDING

I’m gobsmacked. This neighborhood pub has outstanding oysters, and the service makes you feel like family! Thanks Oyster House!

Food is amazing, love it so much, but service was poorly, she have to handle the whole restaurant herself on Wednesday night, she did not check on us how’s the food taste like which is ok, but she did not offer me a plate for my sauce that’s I think it’s just really unacceptable. Again food is amazing really

Been wanting to come here for years. It’s an intimate atmosphere, but comfortable and casual. The service is top notch: it was my birthday and not having a great night, yet so above expectations my fab hostess (whose name I can’t remember, sadly) brought me an emergency shot, and made great recommendations… and my day. Seriously thank you. Also, oysters were rustic and tasty, and the po’boys are top notch, frankly some of best I’ve had outside of NOLA. Sides were very southern solid as well, I went red beans and rice as well as split a side of fries; just beware of the hot sauces on the table, they can over season your gumbo real quick. Ooh the beer: the IPA they were brewing is awesome and really compliments the food. My other half enjoyed the the Step Papa. A Real West AVL gem. Shhh. and steps from Potential New Boyfriend, which is also cool… but another review.

The meal was absolutely delicious. The service was bland. Something to be said about being warm, welcoming, and comfortably interactive. It wasn’t horrible service by any means, just disappointing when you get excited for a restaurant but between you and the staff you’re the only one excited 🤷🏻‍♂️
