Yesterday was my first time at Papas Express in Asheville. Not only was I impressed with the amount of options on the menu, but the authenticity and quality of these dishes is top notch. I ordered tamales, with beans and rice and a drink. I was also given one if each type of salsa. WOW!! The meat in the tamales (pork and chicken) were soooo tender and juicy, packed tons of flavor, and again, tasted just like grandmas. ALL of the salsas were great to eat along with the tamales...

I am a return customer. Papa's Express has set the standard so high, it's hard to enjoy the same dish at another restaurant. The food is always fresh and delicious. Everyone is polite and friendly.
I've never left a review before but this place is awesome and deserves the praise !
