Quaint little space! I took my dog inside and got a vanilla latte which was delicious.

First time and likely last time. I'm an average coffee drinker, if it's hot I'm happy, but I didn't enjoy their dark roast black coffee today... just plain bad and I rarely have a bad cup of coffee. Service was nice, atmosphere was fine, but the coffee itself was quite disappointing.

Great bagels and they have their own homemade cream cheese, which is divine.

The lovely curly haired barista with the fantastic fits and the fire playlists makes the best bagels and drinks. Might just be the greatest coffee shop in the state but who's to say. 10/10 experience every visit ‼️💯🔥

I wanted to love them. Penny cup at Hawcreek is my favorite. I never pay to park, but I paid to park just to try this coffee shop. Terrible coffee. My friend and I threw them in the trash. The barista was as welcoming as going to have my taxes audited.

Pleasant experience and high-quality coffee. The prices are fair, especially for the quality of the coffee. I love that the history of the YMI is celebrated in paintings, photography, and text. The staff team was friendly and efficient too! Thanks, y’all.

I work downtown and this is by far my favorite place to escape and grab a coffee , a quick break, or have a meeting. The coffee is great, the staff is kind, and the vibes are immaculate. 💯

When we visit Asheville we often stay In The Foundry hotel. Access to Penny Cup can be had through the hotel's courtyard. Not only is this convenient, we love the coffee, the banana bread is the best I have ever tried (and my BFF and mother-in-law are GF and the GF version is so good we often bring pieces back for them!). Atmosphere is niece- eclectic and fun.

This coffee shop truly has character! The mural was funky and fun and I enjoyed the numerous photographs on the wall. They roast their own beans and I believe you can buy bags of them around Asheville. I really enjoyed my coffee from naturally processed beans!
