I’m not much of a pizza person. And I’m very picky about my pizza. But this place was GREAT!!! Donavan was our server. He was GREAT!!! Vibrant, fun, polite, and attentive! We will eat here again when we are in Asheville!
Really liked Barley’s Taproom. Nice, spacious place with plenty of room. I was there on Thursday and the live band was superb — really enjoyed the music. Service was good too.

Barley's has an amazing lounge and bar that feels both classy and completely casual. The vibe is instantly cool without trying too hard, and the music pours out onto downtown creating a true main street ambiance. The upstairs venue has tall tables, bar seating, cozy couches and chairs, and several pool tables and a shuffleboard. The downstairs area has reopened and has more space for games and a relaxed crowd. Pizza is amazing and great as a favorite bite to eat, and the beer selection includes local Ginger's Revenge, Guinness and Harp on tap. Cocktails are unique and thoughtfully crafted, each tasting as good as it looks. Bartenders are friendly, attentive and clearly know their craft, makes the whole experience better. The atmosphere is great for grabbing a drink, a bite, or just enjoying the atmosphere with friends. Barley's sets a standard that will be hard to match in the area, and many say they will be back, highly recommend and would like to hear from them about reserve.
