In ashville from work this past week. Root bar was in walking distance from hotel, that was a plus. This bar has a pool table, darts, and a game out back called root ball which is like a bocce ball horse shoe combined game. Pretty unusual but fun. No food except for taco truck during day. Had live music, the music was good. The vibe felt off for me for the most part. Homeless folks were there, and one of them was not pleasant. I wouldn't recommend to transits passing through. The homeless inhabitants made the experience uncomfortable to say the least. This is why I gave a 3 out of 5.

Canned beer, fun folks, good music
Excellent place to feel at home. Only day i wouldn't visit is Tuesdays. Musicians are incredible and very talented. Abby & The Echos were amazing.
