Underwhelmed by the brunch menu, but we decided to order some appetizers to share., We were pleasantly suprised by the fantastic crab cakes and fried green tomatoes with pimento cheese. The service was good, coffee was great and we really enjoyed the live guitarist's pleasant melodies and strumming.
Our server, Melinda, was phenomenal. I had the chicken pot pie and the crust was perfectly flaky. The chicken was so tender. My husband's house made potato chips were also delicious. We will definitely be back to try more of their dishes.
I was told I didn't have a reservation but even after showing my confirmation the hostess was a bit rude. Later during our meal, she came over to say she had found it and apologized but it had already put a damper on our first impression. The restaurant is located in a hotel and is almost part of the reservation area. It was quite cold in there, probably because of the door constantly opening.
