The atmosphere and craft of the shop is nice, very casual and fun. My concern is for those with allergies. We are specifically dairy free due to my wife’s severe allergy. When ordering the DF strawberry boba tea we were told by our server that there had been a previous allergic reaction due to milk derivatives in the drink. If this is the case, this item and other items should not be listed as DF. It is a blatant disservice, especially to those with allergies. My latte was also ok at best.

I’m very thankful a kind worker mentioned that the boba drinks, which were marked non-dairy, did have milk derivatives and had given customers allergic reactions. While I appreciate that one employee’s customer service, that is not okay. I have a severe dairy allergy, and that mislabeling made me really uncomfortable. I don’t recommend this cafe to anyone with allergies.

We absolutely loved our visit to Sweets and Seats Cafe in downtown Asheville! The atmosphere is warm, cozy, and inviting, making it a perfect place to relax. Every detail of the interior feels carefully chosen, from the charming seating to the little decorative touches that make it unique. The treats were delicious, beautifully made, and full of flavor. It’s a spot that feels both stylish and welcoming. Highly recommend to anyone visiting Asheville!

This place has the best little pastries. A different assortment regularly to choose from. The atmosphere is clean and upbeat. The service is the best. The ladies were very warm, welcoming and informative about the menu.
As a side note...the recommendation for Marina and the Diamonds...much much appreciated 😉

Walk in, sit down and order from the table. Then enjoy.
I have the shaved ice everyone I visit. It’s a bit sweet, but well done otherwise.
Had a few of their pastries that were just okay.

I ordered a classic black tea with tapioca and it was the WORST tasting tea I’ve ever had. Big bummer, it tasted like they had taken the dregs of 5 different teas and tried to cover the awful tasting tea with sugar. Really bummed I paid $7.50 for an awful product.

One of a couple of exceptions in downtown Asheville that are still great to visit. The young ladies that worked the evening we stopped in are a asset to the good that use to be downtown.
