The food was delicious and the staff was wonderful. I would recommend the Yellow fin blossom to anyone looking for fresh sushi done right .Also the tempura asparagus was off the chain. .thanks Takosushi!

Unfortunately the quality of the food in this establishment has deteriorated, the last two times I ate here I enjoyed it thoroughly. However, my most recent meal here was very disappointing, mushy over cooked white rice and under cooked brown rice is not acceptable in sushi. On the plus side the wait staff is always agreeable and attentive, I just wish the food was better

We came here to celebrate my daughters 21st birthday. We had a large party and Hannah the manager and our servers were great. We had an excellent time. Everyone went over and above! We couldn't ask for better service or a better time. We dine here often and are never disappointed, but wanted to thank you guys for making this day extra special!!

Overall great neighborhood atmosphere in a touristy downtown. My only beef is that you have to time your visits to the days they get fresh shipments of sushi grade fish. Some days the fish tastes and presents better than others. Go figure. A great experience regardless.

Our group had lunch here as a new experience for all of us and we all agreed that will be back! I had the bento box. It was more than I could eat and the large pieces of fish were very fresh tasting and beautiful. Our server was very helpful and friendly. The restaurant has lots of wood, plants, and light with an outdoor dining area. Check it out!

Excellent sushi, service was great. I will say though that if I were the manager or owner and the city water was brown due to work they are doing on the pipes, I wouldn't serve it and try to tell customers it was safe.
We really wanted to love this place. The concept is interesting, Mexican and Sushi fusion sounds like you can make everyone in the family happy at the same time. Unfortunately it's hard to be good at multiple things and Takosushi fails to be good at either of the cuisines they're shooting for. We started with Guacamole, the bottom of the bowl was filled with lettuce as filler and the guac badly needed salt or seasoning of some kind. Our table had a tuna roll, taquitos, chicken chorizo tacos, chicken tamales and Chile rellenos. Nothing on the table was good, the rice was mushy, the beans had a weird burned flavor, the tamales were so mushy, the tacos were weirdly smoky, the tuna tasted...off, Everything was flavorless and badly flavored at the same time. There was seriously not one redeeming item. Asheville has many great restaurants do not waste your time or money here.

We have eaten here twice. Both times the wait staff and food has been exceptional! Tori was our waitress last evening. She was very pleasant and kept us posted food prep times. Highly recommended!

Went here for my buddies birthday and we had over a dozen people present. I was amazed how good the food was, especially considering that we had so many people! Our server, Ashk was fantastic and as far as I know, we wanted for nothing throughout the entire LONG time we were there. Seriously this place is underrated and it just became my favorite sushi place in town
