Skip the crazy line to get into Sunny Point. Tastee Diner was quick to get in, friendly staff, really good breakfast at a reasonable price. I had biscuit and sausage gravy, hubby had Denver omelet, daughter had the Breakfast Bird - all yummy! Would have given 5 stars, but my husband's silverware was a little dirty and gravy wasn't hot.

Great experience, food, and staff! We got the pimento bacon chicken sandwich, bacon egg and cheese biscuit with potatoes, kids cheeseburger and kids hotdog. Everything was delicious especially my crispy potatoes! Best potatoes I've had in a long time! Dessert was a couple bowls of ice cream which we all shared and it was really yummy! Everything was nice and clean and safety precautions in play. Staff was very friendly and attentive to our needs. Can't wait to go back and try everything else!

Excellent food! A casual atmosphere. It has a genuine Diner vibe. A place I could take my mom or my rough and tumble friends. Always a welcoming feeling no matter who or what you identify as. ? recommend

Just had breakfast here for the first time. Small place, comfortable, local. Extremely friendly service! Would definitely return. They have outdoor seating. Strict COVID rules. Wonderful place! Come hungry.

Food was delicious, went here for breakfast at 10 am and it was very busy! So be prepared for slight wait . They gave the best mimosas I’ve ever had in Asheville, so recommend getting one of those. Chicken and waffles was a classic and their bacon egg and cheese sandwich was to die for!

Great little hometown diner! We went both days we were in town. Very affordable! The grit bowl was unique and delicious! Short wait one day and none the second. Very clean and had an air scrubber in the dining room.

Went to this place based on the great reviews.. two BLT'S and chili tots.. was $25. The blt had two pieces of bacon on each sandwich and the bacon was not fully cooked. The chili tots were just ground beef with taco seasoning and some shredded cheese not melted. Disappointed ?

I enjoyed my first meal here. The eggs were delicious. The French toast was to die for! I'm not a bacon fan but it was crisp and delicious as well. I didn't enjoy the grits per say. I like creamy grits, while these were a little gritty. (Suggest adding heavy whipping cream to them to make them creamier) overall, an A for awesome food.

I used to go to this place when it was the original ownership, and the food was good, but the real appeal was the prices. New owners have made the food actually good, while keeping the reasonable prices. One of the best breakfast options in Asheville, imo. And, I love the alcoholic drinks too!!

Always good! The hot dog didn’t taste the same this time! Hopefully it’s back to normal next time!

Great food, service, prices, and atmosphere. What more could you want from a diner. Like the cool old pictures of asheville too.

I usually drop in here one a month, and it's always great. I always want to try something new but end up getting the Korean breakfast sandwich.

Unexpected find on our new years Eve trip. This diner was amazing and we can't wait to go back. Fun food and they now have adult milkshakes. Can't wait to try one of those. I got the open face chicken biscuit with gravy and potatoes. Amazing! Next time you are in Asheville, go find this hidden gem and try it for yourself.
