I love this place! The girls working there were so sweet and the food was exceptional! We got a BBQ sandwich, hotdogs, and fries and we also ordered twist cones. The cones started melting right away so the girls offered us lots of napkins and a cup to put them in. Everything was great, even the bbq sandwich.

Best ice cream in town! Grew up going to this place and finally got to take my own kids!
It's a shame that Asheville has declined so much. I felt very unsafe here due to all of the drug addicts lingering around. The ice cream was mediocre at best. The mix of the homeless encampment directly behind the business and the drug addicts hanging around made it enough to never go here again.
I loved the Tastee Freeze as a child and was excited to see a place that reminded me so much of it. Great hot dogs, BBQ sandwiches, and ice cream!

They’ve got such a great variety of ice cream desserts here - both soft serve and scooped. Outdoor seating, walk up window or drive through. It’s usually quite crowded and a little messy but the service is very friendly and helpful and the customer energy is bubbly. And one can get a no-sugar added vanilla float in a sugar free cola.
Dietary restrictions: No sugar added vanilla and diet cola make a nice float.
Parking: There’s not a whole lot of parking right there at the Freeze but there is a neighboring lot with lots of space right next door that customers often use.
Kid-friendliness: It’s ice cream. They have great variety. The service is friendly and has a nice vibe for all ages.
