Our favorite restaurant. We drive to Asheville from upstate SC just to eat here. Praying for everyone.
Dietary restrictions: I eat gluten free, not by choice. They have many options. I'm not vegetarian but the vegetarian enchilada is to die for.

We were on Vacation for ten days in September before the hurricane. Ate at cantina three or four times. The menu is varied enough to not be boring. Service was very good.

Always my favorite local Mexican food ?
The service great. Sat at the bar and was taken good care of and served quickly and with food humor. The pork carnita tacos delicious, the rice and beans meh. The atmosphere is loud and fun, it's in a busy tourist area.

My wife and I have ate at the Cantina for years but today kinda aggravated me when I got my bill. I was charged 4.99 for unlimited chip and salsa. Really? I have never been charged this prior. Four adults and 2 baskets of chips and the regular servings of salsa. This place has always been a reasonable as far as pricing but I’m beginning to wonder now. They suggest a 20% tip when you receive your bill to pay their workers. I will say I have always received good service but when you pay for 4 adult meals and 2 kids meals that starts getting expensive.

Very yummy cantina in the Biltmore neighborhood. I ordered the grilled romaine salad with chips, salsa, and queso, along with a "no-jito" (virgin mojito). It was easily one of the most tasty salads I've enjoyed in a while! Very fresh and crunchy and loved the flavor of the grilled romaine.
