Healthyish options available, green smoothie is great. Most of the prices have jumped the shark IMO for how casual it is. Very easy to spend 25 dollars for lunch when including tax/tip.

$30 for lox&bagel w/coconut water. Free wifi limited to 30 mins. I can't believe all the rave reviews for this place.
Overpriced and not good. I got the thunderbird. Chicken was dry and the whole sandwich was not flavorful. My friend got the standard and he described the sausage as tasting like school food. He also got a coffee which he said was the worst coffee he had ever had. Honestly never coming back to this overpriced restaurant that’s only for milking money out of tourists

The customer service is drier than their toast. Idk if it’s a requirement to hire people with no personality here or if it’s just the stuck-up downtown Asheville vibe they’re going for. If so, they nailed it. The coffee was mid and there are much better and cheaper options in town. Kinda surprised this place is so popular, nothing I’ve tried here stands out as special or worth coming back for.

Food has gone down hill over the years. $20 for a 3/5 burger is just insane.

One of the best brunch spots in town. The Standard is the ultimate breakfast sandwich. Great coffee and pastries too!
4 stars only because they don't label the pastry case. Every time I come I wonder what is in there, and it would only take a couple minutes to write on the glass with the same chalk marker. As it stands I have to ask and they're busy enough that I refrain from asking about things I might otherwise buy.

The Shakshuka was a really bad version of the traditional and common variety. It also gave me an upset stomach

This seems to be a neighborhood coffee shop where lots of people go to meet and hang out. I ordered a coffee and it was a highly acidic brew that was not to my liking. The young man retrieving the dirty dishes from the self bussing area made so much noise that it sounded like he was smashing the dishes.

As you walk in you pay at the front first, and then you will sit at a table and they will bring your food out to you. They had a ton of gluten-free options available. I had the gluten-free pancakes, which were really good and tasted a bit like a gingerbread, my husband had the fried chicken biscuit with tater tots, which were really good. The place was very clean. There was options. Available to sit outside.
Dietary restrictions: They had gluten-free options available.
Parking: There is parking along the street. We did not see a parking lot.
