The owner seemed offended and defensive because I requested to see her bread pudding prior to purchase. As a consumer, we should have the right to view or sample before purchasing. She assured we would like it. Well it was okay, but not like my grandmother's. This was my reason for asking to view. Some may like it so don't take my opinion solely, but its not what I am accustomed to. The 1 star is not for the bread pudding, but the negative attitude overall from the owner. Customer service is key even when it hurts.

The carrot cake was good, the cheesecake was great, but the iced coffee was literally the best I've ever had. Do yourself a favor and drink it black. It's smooth and floral without a hint of bitterness.

The option I needed was “unfriendly†but that wasn't a choice. The lady seemed aggravated that we were even here (although there was only one other couple in the place). I tried pleasant conversation but she had no interest. Can't be nice to some people and this lady is one of them. Find a more welcoming place for your morning coffee.

Absolutely delightful place to have coffee and a sweet pastry. Carole, the owner, was fantastic to talk to and very welcoming. I couldn't help but notice all of the negative comments regarding her from past posts. It makes me wonder if she treats out-of-town visitors with more respect in hopes that they might return?? Either way I enjoyed my experience and the whimsical and humorous signs posted in the bakery.

The owner is super sweet! She took time to recommend/ help customize my husband's order. We didn't try the desserts, but they looked delicious (especially the peanut butter pie)! We went two days in a row. Highly recommend!
