This place isn't like your typical authentic Japanese spot. It's more like a fusion vibe, catering to the American palate, which is kinda cool, right? The ribs were absolutely delicious, and those skewers were on point! Everything was just so yummy! ? Though I gotta say, the sushi made with fried rice balls was just okay, nothing too special. But hey, can we talk about the service? It was seriously top-notch! ?

Absolutely phenomenal Easter brunch- would have been Jesus’ first stop once he returned bc the Japanese sausage, mochi donuts, pastrami eggs sandwich, salmon sashimi and dumplings are that good! Such great quality meats and fish! This is my new favorite spot in Asheville.

A little too fancy to become a regular spot for me, but I absolutely loved my totally unique and delicious experience!

Fantastic. The Ginza tasting menu, as recommended by our server Matthew, was the way to go. A great amount of food for the money, and included all of the heavy hitter dishes. Don’t miss it.

We decided to make a pit stop at Asheville on our way back to SC all because we wanted to eat here again! This is our second time here and we decided to do The Ginza tasting menu which contained 12 dishes. We agreed that 3 out the 12 dishes didn't give us that "wow factor" but overall it was delicious! Loved the quality of ingredients, presentation, and we can clearly see the chef's thought process behind the flavors. It actually inspired us a lot! It's a well balanced Japanese-American food fusion. Can't wait to come back here whenever we're back in town!

So, we just waltzed in off the street, no reservation or anything, and bam! We hit the jackpot of dining experiences – seriously, it felt like we should've had to plan this months in advance. This place is a total gem! If you're in town and skip eating here, you're basically saying no to some top-notch grub, killer vibes, and service that'll make you feel like royalty.

I have been twice and had the tasting menu. The first time was one of the best eating experiences I’ve had in Asheville. The second time was one of the worst. The pacing of the meal was atrocious and took insanely long in between dishes. The food severely lacked salt, especially the hot pot. We left without wanting dessert because we didn’t want to wait another 40 minutes for something mediocre. There are too many other good food options in Asheville to waste your time and money here anymore.

This place is a unique fusion of Japanese and southern food. They encourage you to order four or more dishes per person, but that’s if you get all the little appetizer bites. We got two of the bowls plus two appetizers and that was plenty for us. The dishes were delicious, unique, well prepared, and quickly served. Service was a little lacking sitting at the bar, but overall, really great experience.

Incredible experience. Highly recommend the chef tasting menu. Great variation, timed beautifully, and so tasty. Service was superb, ambience is killer, and cocktails were innovative and refreshing. Love the food scene in Asheville and this was one of the best dining experiences we've had.
