I really enjoy the meatloaf with the mashed potatoes! So delicious.

The seafood platter is WAY TOO expensive for the quality of the food. Even the French fries were substandard, hard as a stone and overcooked. The best thing on the plate was the coleslaw. 🙂‍↕️

Had dinner at Amos Mosquito’s in Atlantic Beach, NC, and overall it was a solid experience. The fried pork chops were a standout — crisp and well-seasoned. The mashed potatoes that came with them were just right, with a nice balance of flavor. We also tried the pork dumplings as an appetizer, and they were definitely worth ordering — flavorful and cooked just right.

Service was smooth throughout. Our server was attentive without hovering, which made the evening feel comfortable and easy.

Just a heads-up: this place is clearly popular, and for good reason. A line started forming about 45 minutes before opening, so it’s smart to show up early if you don’t want to wait.

It is a nice place, just a line forms before the restaurant opens. We arrived 30 minutes before opening and it was about 50th in line. But they do a great job on taking names and getting people in as fast as they can.

Fun and scenic areas to wait at, free water available while you wait, neat decorations/nice atmosphere, absolutely delicious food and super nice staff! Would definitely recommend to anyone in the area and will definitely be back next time we’re in town! This meal was one of the highlights of our trip. Definitely recommend trying the table top s’mores for a fun dessert and the shrimp & chicken pesto Alfredo was wonderful! Very kid friendly place as well.

Awesome location. Awesome building/atmosphere/service. Ribeye was thin, dry, and seasoning was sub-par. Definitely not worth the price.

I was in the area and I saw that there were great reviews so I decided to try a new restaurant. We ended up taking it to go because the wait was over an hour. ( no problem at all but the issue with the wait is I have no idea what people wait for because food was horrible) we had the crap dip… I don’t think it even had crab in it… it was so salty it left my mouth was burning. I had the clam chowder as well was only ok not worth it at all… also very very salty. All the food was so salty I couldn’t eat any of it. I’m not sure what the hype is but I definitely won’t be back.

We went here for our anniversary and could no have been happier. We came after 8PM on a Tuesday to be after the rush. We got a table in the bar . The service, drinks and server were all top notch. The atmosphere was cordial and cozy. The food, flounder & shrimp with mashed potatoes and meatloaf with mashed potatoes was perfectly cooked and tasted delicious. This was a first class experience and while costly was in line with any other high end restaurant. A completely satisfying dining experience. The food lived up to the expectations.

If might seem a little "pricey" but the serving sizes more than make up for that. Depending on the person, you'd be able to get two meals from your dish.
Staff was very pleasant, attentive and accommodating.

We had the bam bam shrimp, mixed grill and the ribeye. Everything was delicious and the service was great. Since our first visit, we’ve returned two more times and the food has consistently been outstanding. We enjoy fried seafood platters and the shrimp and scallops were fantastic and portions generous. The staff are super attentive and have fun names like Peaches, Blossom, and Jethro. Lots of attention to detail. Have not felt ripped off, not one bit.

Nice spot close to the water. I got the fish bites appetizer and fried scallops and oysters entree. It was good.
My only complaint was the food sat a while before it came to the table. Fried food should come straight out.
I brought some home and heated in air fryer, it was great!
The birthday s'mores dessert is a fun dessert, enjoyed it!

This place was a surprise.
To begin with, comfortable parking for many vehicles. Once you enter you have to look at the decoration of the place, very distinctive and unique, it is like a swamp. Yes, it looks like a swamp with tree branches on the roofs, insects, mosses, frogs and many different sizes of mosquitoes, paying homage to the name of the restaurant. The service is good, the host is the owner because he greeted the person who greeted us. invited to visit the place. The waitress was very attentive to the entire service at all times, fast and well-versed in the entire menu, which is extensive. They offer a variety of spiced and cheesy pita bread, cornbread and regular bread with a touch of garlic all very unique to start the day. It was a group of 8 people and the main dishes came out quickly taking into account that the place was full and people kept arriving. My plate was breasts with pineapple and sweet and sour sauce, fried rice with green beans and wonton chips. The food also had a unique, strange and very delicious flavor at the same time, at least my dish. The price is very consistent with the quality of the food, excellent. The waitress's attention at all times was spectacular. The toilets were clean and had a horn emitting sounds of mosquitoes and frogs, something I had never seen or heard, very in tune with the place. In the end everything was very good, clean and good service, I loved the place, very familiar and fun for a good conversation.
