“These are the best Apple fritters (if you can even call them that) on the planet and I’ll fight you on it. They’re as dense as a bowling ball and they’re filled with what tastes like granny’s homemade apple pie filling. If it was all they sold, they’d be worth of 5 stars. But everything else is great too. If you’re anywhere on the Outer Banks, this place is worth the trip.“
“I’m a PIZZA SNOB ~ From FL to NY/CHICAGO and every pizza from here to CA THE BEST. If it wasn’t near closing time ~ I would have gone back for another. We order thick crust ~ perfection, sauce ~ this in my opinion wasn’t out of a can, quality cheese, not greasy. Usually there’s a few slices whereever I’ve ordered (friends/family) we fought over the last piece dividing it up. As a former caterer, and family tradition I’m known for my homemade from scratch Cream Puffs/“Eclairs” and the “Eclairs” are HUGE !! I’ll happily admit ~ just as good … if not BETTER ! Thank goodness I was only visiting my son, I’d go broke and weigh 600#’s. I will delay my drive out so I’m able to get pizza & Eclairs. I ordered to go ~ so I can’t comment on atmosphere ~ that said the staff was polite, attentive, sweet as the Eclairs.“
“Kim made a red velvet cake and decorated it with a beach look. It was so beautiful that we didn’t want to cut! 0f course we did and it tasted as fabulous as it looked. She was great communicating with me when I requested it weeks in advance and the day it was ready, even sending me a video of her masterpiece.“
