The prices are terribly high. Looked up the market price of King Crab and it shows a high of $60. They are selling it for $110. So we chose to get something “less expensive “. The meal was at best ok, nothing to write home about. The service was again ok, they were friendly but it was obvious they were definitely under staffed. We had our yearly family dinner tonight at the Mad Crabber we were looking forward to it but it was such a huge disappointment in many ways! First the food was sub par it was not worth it! The Maui Maui fish tasted like it was a frozen piece of fish from the freezer! The seafood wasn’t all that great and the prices were through the roof! Service wasn’t that great as well! Whatever you do, don't go for the crab! We've looked forward to a crab dinner at the Mad Crabber every single year when we come down to The Banks - but tonight was a complete disappointment. First, we were told they were no longer carrying the king crab. So we got the snow crab - and it was the worst we've ever been served anywhere. The quality of the crab was clearly sub-par.
