There are some decent barbecue dining spots in the Spruce Pine/Burnsville/Little Switzerland area. But I could find nothing that could be considered outstanding. I had a helluva difficult time figuring out their hours, but living sort of nearby, and a persistent desire for excellent smoked meats kept my interest up. Fantastic smoked BBQ. My sister and I were in town for a family wedding and we needed to grab a bite to eat. The smoked chicken fell right off the bone, the BBQ was the best I’ve had in years. This definitely hit the spot and the flavors made me feel right at home.
