“Amazing burger, friendly host, quick service, good value! Nothing to complain about here. I got the double bacon burger, and will definitely get the same thing next time :) Can't go wrong for $8. I regret not getting a piece of the red velvet cheesecake, it looked to die for. Apparently they don't have it often, so take advantage if you are so fortunate! (visited a week ago)“

“Enjoyed an early dinner here today. My dining partner and I split a double cheeseburger and a basket of the Sidewinder fries. The burger was big and fries portion most generous. She is a very light eater, but we finished it all! And loved, loved the Sidewinders. Burger was maybe a bit overdone, but still hit the spot with sloppy deliciousness. Highly recommend. Great atmosphere and ample beer choices.“

“Very attentive staff, lightning fast service. Great food. Their shrimp Po boy is to die for. Extremely reasonable prices. Will definitely be back. UPDATE: have already been back, and it's SO worth the long drive from Leicester. Hope, once HWY 55 opens in Weaverville the new staff there will get the same training. Staff here is AWESOME.“

“Great bbq with lots of flavor that didn’t even need sauce. Catfish and short ribs were excellent. Loved the sweet potato fries and the home fries. There are specials every night with good value. We like the home town feel of City Drive-in and the old-timey “drive-in” is pretty cool.“

“Admittedly, we only picked this place because our middle child has gone by Bubba since he was as tall as a fiddlehead, so we had tempered expectations. Was seated right away and were pretty much the only table in the place. The smell of fryer hung in the air like all the banners touting Cougar Heritage pride, so much so your clothes will smell like it afterwards. No frills flat top grill and fryer offerings, burgers, tenders, fries and rings. All fairly tasty and the kids approved of Cheerwine on tap. Big plus. Service was a little slow given the time of day and lack of customers, but again, the Cheerwine was flowing, so the kids were happy as clams. The dining room itself was kind of dark and again, fryer smell, plus the industrial catering wedding chairs weren't so comfy, but we weren't expecting Tavern on the Green. Fries and burgers disappeared into gullets without complaint. Inexplicably, there was a not even 10 year-old kid who appeared to be waiting a table. No kidding. Handling money and running drinks. I guess he could try that in a small town. My boy, the Bubba, even gave him a gumball for his trouble.Parking: Private lot with parking a'plenty.Kid-friendliness: They even let kids wait tables.“

“This is our second time trying Red Wolff. First it was the Mahi tacos with pineapple habanero salsa (in which those were absolutely amazing in every way) and this time it was BBQ. The BBQ was absolutely delicious and tender, not to mention the sides were delicious as well. You can tell they put so much love and hard work into their food/presentation. They are so friendly (as my husband has stated - since he is the one who has went and picked up our food both times) and take the time to appreciate you when you give them a compliment. This little place is by far the best!!! I wish they had an actual restaurant because I would most definitely eat here all the time??? Kudos to you all. I pray you will always have business. This place is just awesome!“
