We stop here every time we come up to Banner Elk. Great home cooking, great service, great prices. We absolutely love this restaurant! (And they treat pups well too - you can sit out back with your dog). Must visit for casual, good food.
We got the grand view omelet and the watauga breakfast. The omelet was stuffed full and was as big as the plate, the cheese was so melty and the hashbrowns were so crispy. The watauga breakfast had a massive country ham. We came in on a whim and were seated right away!

Stopped in on a trip home from a mountain vacation. It was a Sunday morning, fairly crowded, seemed a little understaffed. Service was a little slow, drink didn't get refilled, but again, it was crowded. Food was absolutely delicious, omelette was absolutely stuffed with meat. Fantastic little spot, well worth the visit.
