It's vineyard tour season again. One of our favorite local day trips, never disappoints. Outdoor patio and pergolas, lawn tents are setup nicely, while enjoying live music. Enjoyed the Provenance winemakers blend today, with Grandfather Mountain as a backdrop. Dog friendly, and with picnic tables down by the river. This is hands down my favorite vineyard I've ever visited. The property is beautiful and there are so many different areas to sit and relax in. The wines are really good too! I even liked their rose and some of their white wines and I'm a red wine gal! I can't wait to come back and visit.

Always a great experience! Enjoy crossing the Watauga River into the Pisgah National Forest to relax at the foot of Grandfather Winery hillside vineyards! So relaxing. Since reopening under pandemic protocols, no tastings. However, the walkup window is so convenient.
