Always a pleasure to patron this restaurant. Food is consistently good. Staff are friendly and they always accommodate my tennis channel requests 🙏 We miss the fried cheese curds from the spring menu though! Can you those back pretty please!?
They were kind enough to let us do a waitlist by phone since we were coming from 1/2 hr away. This restaurant is accommodating, friendly, comfortable, and great food selection. The staff were right on top of things and courteous and the food came out quickly. Pricing is much better than many other Banner Elk establishments. Well done. We'll be back when we're next in the area.
Zach and Alex are worth the trip alone. Great service at the bar

Town Tavern of Banner Elk (TTBE) offers a great experience with exquisite woodwork by Rustik. The decor is lovely, and the service is top-notch. The Manager, Randall, is doing an excellent job maintaining a great atmosphere with live music. Guests have enjoyed the cozy, laid-back environment, making it a wonderful place to unwind. The beautiful building with garage-style doors contributes to the upbeat ambiance, and the chili dog has been noted for its perfect spice. Overall, it is worth the drive to visit this awesome new establishment, whether passing through or looking to dine regularly.
