Wonderful experience! Ieisha was an excellent server, took great care of us and had excellent recommendations. The mussels were the best mussels we've ever had in our lives, tuna poke was delicious and the pineapple bacon infused old fashion is also a must. We will definitely be back!

What a wonderful place! The ambience is perfect...quiet with nice artwork on the walls and lovely decor. Our waiter was friendly and knowledgeable. We started with the curry pumpkin soup and the dusted oysters, both of which were delicious and just the right size. The focaccia bread for the table was light, hot and savory. We shared the noodle bowl and it was the perfect portion for each of us. A yummy chile coconut broth filled with soba noodles and accompanied by scallops, shrimp, seared tuna and mushrooms. Unusual and tasty. We ended our meal with the dessert sampler...Bananas Foster( flambé), Crème Brûlée and Pumpkin Cheesecake. Each the perfect size to share with a bite or two to spare. We are looking forward to next year's vacation and another visit to one of the best restaurants we've had the pleasuring of trying. Aqua is a hidden gem!

Oddly slow service and some ambience issues to contend with (cold gust of air when door opened to serve the outside seating area, and a really loud-talker table near us (it's a small room, folks). Food was lovely and unique, love the creative menu and excellent wine list by the bottle, but lots of long waiting before and between courses and getting the check.

The Queen and myself dined at a new spot tonight. Aqua Restaurant in Beaufort, NC has been on our list to try... and we are so glad we did! Started with cocktails... she did a Kyoto Twilight and I had the Tiki Temptress. We them had Seared Juusto (husto) with Lavender Honey. YUM! She had the Tuna Poke complete with chopsticks, and I opted for their 'small plates' of GLUTEN FREE Crab Cakes and the Chef's Special Grilled Grouper with Sweet Potato Mash and grilled veggies (mushrooms, green onions, cherry tomatoes, and snap peas). For dessert the Queen opted for the sampler of Creme Brulee, Chocolate Mousse, and Bananas Foster.... complete with table side flambe ! Our server, Samaria, was wonderful! She gave us fantastic service with a lovely smile. Of you come to the Crystal Coast, you need to find this hidden gem!!!!!

Our food selections were very good and the waitstaff attentive. We were seated outside and there was a band playing at a bar 30 feet away. The music was very loud and spoiled the ambience of our outside dining experience. We recommend making a reservation inside!

After reading the reviews we had high expectations. Although my husband enjoyed his steak and crab, my fresh catch (red snapper) was a disappointment. I enjoyed the vegetables more than the fish. It had a stronger taste than usual for fresh snapper and not worth the price. The only “meat” I eat is seafood, and I have lived in a coastal area for most of my almost 60 year life. I frequently buy fresh fish, including all varieties of snapper, and frankly enjoy what I cook myself more.

We went to Aqua for our 40th Anniversary. The waiter wished us a happy anniversary. We were served our meal which was very good. We are giving the 3 star review because no one came back to our table after that. They did not refill our water or ask if we wanted another drink (which we did) they walked by our table numerous times. We tried flagging one waiter down but he kept going by us. We did not receive a desert menu at all. My husband put his empty wine glass at the end of the table thinking someone would stop and ask if we needed another drink. We flagged our waiter down and asked for our check. So disappointed because food was great. Service not so good. Ruined our night. We left and went down the street at another place for a drink and desert.
