We visited last summer and were just recommending Black Sheep to our friends that are getting ready to visit, so I figured I’d drop a review!
We had a baby and a 1 year old last summer when we showed up, and joked that they put us up near the street so the kids didn’t disturb the other tables- but in fact, it was the best spot! Our 1 year old spent the entire time in the window waving to passerbys. Great food, such a friendly staff (and we know we leave a tornado behind us), and such a cute location. We will continue to recommend to friends and look forward to coming back when we travel out there again.

Delicious crab dip with Old Bay! So many restaurants ruin their crab dishes by not using Old Bay! Not here, so good. The pizza was great as well.

This restaurant has a very beachy atmosphere, with direct boardwalk access. There are outdoor and indoor dining options that have wheelchair accessibility. Some of the outdoor spaces are a little tight for maneuverability but it is doable. The waiters and waitresses are very kind and quick to serve in any way they can. We had a spill at our table and it was quickly cleared away and the drink replaced at no extra charge. The food is very casual but upscale. I would definitely recommend!

They have vegan cheese! Their menu or website doesn’t mention it, but the server was more than accommodating. Marked my order as “dairy allergy” and made sure it was vegan for me. The menu itself doesn’t look incredibly vegan friendly, but it was easy to maneuver!

If you want the best pizza in Beaufort look no further. We stopped by and had a choice of seating in either the hip store to the left or more traditional place to the right. Same great food. We chose the left and had spectacular service from Sean. A great local resource he went out of his way with service you only find in expensive venues. The pizza is true brick oven and the ingredients were fresh. They have a sofa sitting area near the fireplace that caps your evening. We had bourbons. Perfect evening.
Had a pepperoni pizza and painkiller out on the docks with my wife. Food great. Perfect atmosphere. Great service.

I have been here twice and the pizza was not good either time. First time the pizza was burnt. Second time I'm not even sure they cooked the pizza it was so underdone and soggy. Overly salty, pretty greasy for a margherita pizza. At 18 bucks for a 12 inch pie that isn't really that great, I would skip this place unless you just want to eat there for the view.

This is one of my favorite restaurants, I bring everyone here. I tell everyone it's by far the best pizza around. Service is usually amazing, but last visit our server took our order, and then came back for the check. Zero touches in between. Ran out of water, something we ordered never came, and we didnt get the chance to ask for it. Just took the order, and brought the check. Never checked on by any staff member.
