Food is excellent, but the restaurant has a tactic where they sell you the most expensive drink possible. They got my wife for a $22 Virgin Margarita. They’ve also gotten other members of my family for $30+Margs the size of a human head. If you ask your server, “what drink would you suggest or what’s good?” Beware-cause most likely it costs $30+. If you like $30 Margs , you will love this place.

Mezcalito in Beaufort is in a great spot in such a calm, pretty town. The vibe inside is super lively, though the restaurant itself feels pretty small and tight. The staff was really attentive, which I appreciated. I went with a group of 7 and most of the food was really good. I had the chicken flautas — they tasted good but were a little on the dry side. One thing that surprised me was they serve agua fresca in a jug instead of a cup you can refill — I’ve never seen that...

Best drinks I've ever had at a Mexican restaurant - ordered the top shelf every time! Salsa and food is superb!
Only complaint is the music - it's 10/10 way too loud and we could not even hear each other to chat. We asked if music could be turned down just a notch and that definitely did not happen.
