Food was good but overpriced. They can charge $19.99 for a cheese pizza as along as people continue to buy them. Mini golf is $11 a person however when the course is bad shape it’s hard to play and really have a good time. Walk the course before you play.
Pizza is tasty but pricey for the size. Grab a cold beer and enjoy some outdoor music is the best way to experience!
Great pizza and fast!
We had take out. The pizza was very poor quality. Not sure what happened. Doesn’t seem to be the same pizza everyone else had in the reviews. Service was good and facility was nice, but man that pizza was rough. I’d take a little Caesars over that any day.
The most I’ve probably ever paid for a pizza as well.
The best place to refuel after a day of lapping on beech mountain. Service is always great, the pizza comes out quickly, and homemade cookies, holy cow. I absolutely ❤️ this place, it's so consistent.
10/10 best pizza and cookies are great too!
Omg the best pizza I have ever tasted ! I’m from Florida and our pizza isn’t this good at all. I know it’s the water and altitude but the whole experience and environment was amazing . I wish you could mail me a pizza to Florida .
Had take out. Food was very good and staff very friendly.

We moved to Beech Mountain two days before Hurricane Helen and can’t express how thankful we are to have met so many great people. Famous Brick Oven Pizza was one of two restaurants that were open and giving out free pepperoni and cheese pizzas as well as drinks. You were greeted by very friendly employees who gave out some great tasting pizza. Brick Oven Pizza has a customer for life. Thank you for your generosity, I can’t wait to actually visit when we have power.

In the midst of devastation, these guys stepped up and offered free pizza to the people stranded on beech mountain. My daughter and her two friends were so lucky to have a hot meal. Thank you for being so generous!

KEN’S FAMOUS REVIEW Making reviews famous for over 55 years. Anyone can put the word famous in front of their name and tour how good their product is, but it comes down to the consumer to really hand out that label.
The SHORT REVIEW: over priced food that doesn’t live up to “famous”, “brick oven” or the heavy price tag.
The LONG REVIEW: Your first RED FLAG will be finding absolutely no pricing on their website, menus, or anywhere else on the Internet. The Famous Brick Oven Pizzeria on Beech Mountain (at 5506 ft above sea level) elevates their skills of pizza making to delusional grandeur. I can’t even honestly say that the pizza is average. It’s round, like a pizza. It has cheese, like a pizza. It has a tomato sauce underneath the cheese, like a pizza, but its overall flavoring is underwhelming. When I physically picked up the pizzas, they seemed unusually heavy. My first thoughts were, “these pizzas must be really doughy or they’ve included the brick oven.“
Then you’re hit with the next shocker, as in, sticker shock… the price, $65.00. It’s almost impossible to comprehend how they can justify that price for mediocre pizza. They must be trying to recoup the cost of schlepping those boring ingredients up the side of the mountain.
There are a lot of good places to get pizza. This isn’t one of them.
And Dalton K. may acknowledge the review, but he doesn’t seem interested in making it any easier to swallow his pizza.
