Mi Jalisco Mexican Grill

We visited Saturday evening around 7- staff was sitting around and acted like we were bothering them. Food was subpar, staff was not friendly, overall experience was unpleasant. Whenever we said “thank you” the response was “ok”. I get that there may be a language barrier, but if you’re serving people, good customer service isn’t a lot to ask for.

My friend and I stopped here on our way home from Land of Oz for dinner. We were seated by a very nice elderly man. But, after waiting almost 20 minutes just to try and get a drink order, we were never acknowledged. There was only ONE SERVER WORKING ON A SATURDAY NIGHT!! We ate our bowl of chips and salsa, then got up and left. I myself will nit be returning to this restaurant again.

Absolutely disgusting. Walk it was dirty. Menus, tables and condiments holders were disgusting. We placed drink orders all sodas were flat and the margaritas tasted sour and out of a packet. At that point we decided not to even try the food. We paid for drinks and promptly left. Never in my 45 years have left an establishment like this. If the front of house and bathrooms are disgusted I can’t imagine what the back of the house looks like. Avoid. The health department needs to shut the places down.

I am not one to complain much about anything. However, I feel the need to let others know how bad of an experience this restaurant was to prevent this from happening to you. It seemed kind of rustic and authentic upon first walking in and I went in with a positive attitude. However,it should have been a sign when we were told they did not have guacamole. For it went downhill quickly after that. The wait for our drinks and ordering was at least 20mins. Finally, (almost an hour in)our food arrived,we all took one bite and stopped. It was so bland and non inspiring to eat that we decided to order pizza from mellow mushroom to pick up instead and had to walk out. I waited behind to pay our bill and my friend let chuy know how badly the food was and all he did was chuckle and smile. No sorry,or discount was received. I have never been so unhappy with a restaurant before. I feel as if the good reviews on here are because those folks had one too many margaritas. Which, were also very poorly done. Very disappointing; and I hope this review helps others to avoid this restaurant at all costs.

We didnt even get to order drinks before deciding to leave. Number one, the place is disgusting and the ratings werent even posted. The bathroom is NOT clean, and had mold and so many spiders . The review saying the other reviews were unfair are lying. Its not well maintained. Nobody ever came to take our drinks after 10 minutes and finally we just walked out.

The food was fair. Seemed only 2 people working. 1 older man cleared the tables and brought chips. Absolutely, the worst chips I've ever had at a Mexican restaurant. I think the guy taking the orders was probably cooking the food. The restaurant could use some major cleaning, in and out. I would not recommend this place!

The restaurant was dirty, including the table we were sat at. The chips they served were stale and chips and dip is my favorite part eating at a Mexican restaurant. It took forever to have someone take our drink order and the server we had didn’t speak English so it was difficult to order without pointing to the menu. We ended up leaving after ordering drinks, it was taking too long and we felt like we were going to get food poisoning there. The restaurant is also cash only which is inconvenient for some people.

Loved this restaurant! The homemade chips and salsa were excellent! They had great selections for vegetarians, and the food was soooo good! It was also affordable, which is hard to find in this area. I will definitely return to this restaurant the next time I am in this area!

This was some of the best Mexican food I've ever had nice decor I got the 1 combo dinner which had 2 enchiladas a taco and some rice it looked so good I couldn't wait to take a photo and ate half the taco only gripe here is that the waiters don't have the best English but I can't complain about that

Style of food different than expected. Rellenos not wrapped, but good chili and beef. Avocado salad excellent.

Distinct building, nice server, food was edible. Rice was crunchy and old, fajita vegetables served in puddle of oil. Dirty table, dirty windows, booth seats torn up. Straw wrappers inside of drink. A lot can be forgiven if the food is good, but sadly it wasn't.
