Black Mountain Pizza & Ale House

Took over an hour to receive a pizza that was burned to a black char. We were told they have a new kitchen staff. Clearly not trained. Profit was placed above quality and customer satisfaction.

Meatball sub was total of 1 full meatball in the entire sandwich the rest was all bread.

The crust is mediocre, The large barely fed two (skinny) people, and there was a hair found on the pizza.

The beer was really good. The pizza however was the best pizza I have tasted. The dough was so fresh it almost melts in your mouth. Definitely will have to go back again some time

Amazing service! The bartender Anna was the absolute best and so much fun! Phillips new nose piercing is awesome and they all deserve a raise! Will be back for sure this place feels like home❤️

We walked in after a morning hike, needing food and beverages.
Anna the bartender and Tori our server were both great, for service and selection assist. Great personalities and conversation, and around just when when we needed them.
The brussel sprout app was super.
We couldn't decide on pizza so we got a thin crust and a Detroit style, both were good, and now we have leftovers, for the win!

We are out on the back patio with our pup and had great service from Anna . We had the thin crust Like A Roni pizza with mushrooms and sausage and it was absolutely delicious!

A gem in a gem. Best pizza & the staff were all exactly what I’d hope to experience on a trip to the mountains: kind, fun and real! Only visiting for a few days but this will be my go-to every visit. Shout out to Anna and the manager on staff. Such a good spot

Got the Detroit crust with the vegan cheese, and it was one of the best pizzas I’ve ever had! There have lots of veggie toppings to make your pizza complete.

Was a bit worried because they seemed understaffed but the ladies killed it. Food was good and it’s a really cool venue to hang out at!
