This is a really special place. We tried everything on tap: 5 ciders and 3 meads. Special mention to the hazelnut mead, and in general it’s the best cider I’ve tasted, period. We had a great time chatting to David and wife, too - they’ve created a warm, welcoming, convivial space. We come to the area every year, and we’ll definitely be making a beeline for Black Mountain Cider on our next trip. Warm wishes from Banbury and India!
The bartender was very nice and knowledgeable. She ended up point us towards the flight since it was our first time there. All 6 of the Ciders and meads we had were delicious and the quaint atmosphere was welcoming. Though the location is a bit hard to find off the bat the drinks and the warm demeanor of the bartender made this hidden gem worth the stop.
My partner and I live out of town but we make a point to visit this place often. The ciders and meads are always delicious and the staff are always friendly. Rotating selection with creative blends you wouldn’t have thought of. Whatever you order, it will be perfectly balanced and full of character. Can’t recommend enough!
