Update: I stopped in early and we tried a cheddar and bacon croissant, a sticky bun and a bagel sandwich. All delicious. Next time an almond croissant and a cinnamon roll.
Stopped in late in the day but I was able to grab some delicious cookies. The snickerdoodle, chocolate chip and coconut macaroons were delicious. Soft, chewy and melt in your mouth! I will definitely be back to try some other pastries!

I stopped by this morning as we left Black Mountain and purchased a jalapeño cheddar bagel and a chocolate croissant. The bagel was delicious, but that chocolate croissant was absolutely amazing! Crunchy on the outside with the perfect chew and an amazing amount of chocolate! I’ve been eating low-carb for several months and this was the perfect place to enjoy some pastries before getting back on plan. Highly recommended!

This has become my favorite little spot in Black Mountain. And that's saying something! They're affordable and feel like a genuine safe and cozy spot tucked in a darling neighborhood. They have the tastiest treats and you could just sit here all day on a cold day!

The most delicious Thanksgiving pies ever!! this bakery is a local treasure.
Stopped here early in the morning before going hiking. I stood at the counter for a good 5 long minutes before someone came to the front to ask me my order. I think the baker was busy in back & the other person came in late so I know that had something to do with it. I believe I got a cinnamon roll since I was in a rush & didnt want anything that would take more time. It was filling & delicious!

Best cheddar biscuit I've had in a looong time, the $1 pastry from the vending machine was perfect for the road!
I always stop here when I travel through Black Mountain. The pastries and bread are wonderful. I always get the impression that the staff is not excited to be there though, maybe because it’s always very busy and they could use more help.

The food here waa delicious, but oh goodness the bad attitude from the servers was a major disappointment. I went two times this past weekend, the first person was lackadaisical, but the food was worth going a second time. The second time we went there was a man behind the counter who I guess had just come in or had been in the back, but the ultimate attitude and disrespect was just over the top. They all acted as if they didn't want to be there and then copped attitude with the customers. For the food, by far one of the best little bakeries, and I even went back the second time to buy multiple pastries to take with me to a conference. But the attitude from the people behind the counter really was disappointing.
