First time at this brewery after 5 months living in the area. There are a lot of great breweries in WNC and this one is among them. The taproom is really spacious and the outside area is even better since it’s out of town. The concert area outside looks really cool and they even have a stage inside too. The beers were quite good as well. I’m looking forward to another trip out to try some more beers!

Excellent beers!! The bar service was fantastic and you can’t beat the live music. Can’t wait to go back.

Always enjoyed their beers, Turtleback is one of the best browns out there, finally got to the source. Great spot, plan to go back soon

Beer = 10/10! Loved all three brews we tried. Taproom vibes = very friendly & responsive. Easy to strike up conversations with strangers (when music wasn't blasting.) Volume of Sunday Jam = WAYYYY too loud to hear anything but the music. Once we went outside, we could still hear the music *very* clearly, but it wasn't deafening. The outdoor area is all picnic tables - lovely & peaceful space that could only be improved by some sort of shade covering.

The vibe of these people is next level & all love. Great staff & beers. Went to summer sequence to see Papadosio and it was amazing. Love the outdoor stage it has been 7 years since I've been to see a show out on that stage. The place is magical.

Nice place. Used to go there very time DSO played. Very good beer and Black Mountain, NC is a great town.

We came here the first time to see Keller Williams. Everyone working there was kind and helpful. The sound was excellent. We also enjoyed the food trucks.

The new brewroom is beautiful. But their beer is the best, the vanilla porter 5 thumbs up.

I'm new to the area. Well, I've been here four years. I come from a very large metropolitan area with more than eight million people. Lots of choices there. I passed by Pisgah any number of times (How often do residents of Swannanoa and Black Mountain go by?) before I realized that the real deal was in the back.

We wandered back there. This is before Hurricane Helene tore us to shreds. There was a bar under a tent near a pretty large stage. The server lived in our neighborhood and was very interesting. McG is what she called herself. She knows a lot of people we know so we drank excellent beer and had good conversation. The other server (not on duty) came in and spoke to her and then went on about his business. We interacted a bit and he was nice.

Fast Forward.

Hurricane Helene happened and our area looked like a tsunami hit it. Local breweries and restaurants were wiped from the face of the planet. It's very sad.

Fast Forward.

We decided to do an afternoon visiting breweries for one beer. We go out and then hit three establishments on our way home. Pisgah is pretty close to home and was our last stop of the day.

The server who had not been on duty in the pre-hurricane location recognized us and thanked us for coming into the new building. I think that building was under construction before. It is a fine spacious interior space. There is a small entertainment stage on one side of the space in the black box theater style. We had a Whaleback and a Grey Beard as we both like IPA's. Both very tasty. We had a nice time and said we'd go back.

A month or so later we got a message that a neighbor's son was performing there. We thought it would be nice to turn out in support. Most of our neighbors were there and others that we know from the community. It was a lovely evening and the Pisgah Brewery space was comfortable and accommodating.

I would recommend Pisgah Brewery as a comfortable neighborhood hangout. The staff and clientele are pleasant. I think that this is a great place for visitors and I would recommend it as a pleasant place with tasty beer. I think it's (as a city slicker in the past) a pretty good people watching place. It's a great place to see the nice people who live in the Swannanoa Valley and I know that they will appreciate the support and trade.

Please go buy beer! I like the Grey Beard the best.

With a heavy heart I look at the photos of this beautiful place…. I see people happily dancing to the great live music, enjoying a beer or two, having fellowship with friends and family… then I turn on the news, I see what good people from my state are living through & it’s so completely devastating! My heart, thoughts and prayers are with you all in everything I do!!! I am truly heartbroken for you all! MAY THE LORD WALK WITH YOU HAND IN HAND THROUGH THIS HORRIBLE TIME, AND GIVE YOU RHE STRENGTH TO CARRY ON, RHE STRENGTH TO STAND TOGETHER AND HELP ONE ANOTHER IN YOUR TIME OF NEED, IN THE NAME OF JESUS, AMEN 🙏💔🏔️
