Beautiful yard for dog friendly needs. 4 stars because it’s solid beer, but for me there are no standouts. We definitely visit when the weather is nice.

Relaxing. Outdoor taproom and picnic tables in the shade. Beer was great. Had the pale ale and brown ale. Both were fantastic and I took home some cans. They have everything on tap except the nitro stout in cans. Bluegrass music in the background. Would def recommend. Bathrooms are portable toilets. They have a big stage and music on Sundays but we weren’t there for the music. 100% recommend for some relaxing beers. You drive behind the buildings and park in the field.

This place is the epitome of what a classic brewery should be. Several great beers on tap, laid back setting, and fantastic music playing. Melissa was wonderful at the bar letting me ask 939020 questions about the place. Lots of open space for my 2 year old to get her yayas out, and dog friendly so the whole family could join in the fun.My family and I come to Black Mountain about 2-3 times a year, and this place will now become a mandatory pilgrimage during our visit.Thank you for a wonderful afternoon!

The anniversary party was well done. Nicely planned, good bands and appreciated them supplementing their beer with local cider and ginger beer.

What the hell happened to this place?! Such a cool vibe and outstanding tap room pre-Covid. Now, now worth wasting your time!! Slim hours only 2 days a week, seriously! Sounds like you boys have already sold out to distribution priorities and the mighty $$. Do us all a flavor, quit pretending to be a craft brewery! This used to be my favorite spot in all the Carolinas!

Smaller beer selection but totally makes sense for the town and location, great atmosphere and staff!! Dogs are allowed which is great, there’s a nice outdoor patio and we had lovely weather for it. Definitely recommend!

They've moved and they only have the outside bar. Bathrooms are portable John's. It's not worth your time and forget it it's raining. Even the t-shirts they're seeing got wet.
