This is a response to Stephanie’s tone deaf review. Perhaps given the weather that was bearing down you might have thought to call ahead? You may reconsider your post…but that’s just me thinking..
It’s been awhile since we enjoyed the hospitality of the Red Rocker Inn.. The breakfast was AWESOME. We look forward to returning! STAY STRONG!

I had a confirmed breakfast reservation and drove 30 minutes to get there to find a "breakfast cancelled today" sign on the door. There was no one to help me in the lobby or dining room and no one answered the phone. I reached out by email and the customer service was rude and just said "sorry for the confusion". No way to run a business.

The establishment is exceptionally well-maintained, and the staff is consistently courteous and professional. The proprietors possess a wealth of knowledge and are genuinely kind individuals. They consistently demonstrate a willingness to provide assistance in any manner they can. The dietary services are commendable, offering a diverse range of delectable culinary options.

If you haven't been to the Red Rocker Inn over the past couple of years, check it out because the newish owners are doing a great job. We went for breakfast (they're open to non-guests if you make a reservation) and were taken on a tour of their open rooms and they were amazingly great...light, airy, great furniture, beautiful bathrooms. Plus, you can't beat this location...you can walk to everything in the town plus the 4 Sisters Bakery shares a green space with the Inn and it's a great place to hang out and talk with friends under the 100-year-old oak trees.

Great place to stay within walking distance to all the fun black mountain shops, etc.
Quiet clean unique bnb
Dinner & breakfast were very good- took a while but to get food but be expected, and I didn’t mind to wait. Def rec coming staying there. Lovely vibes

Hosting a party of 18 for dinner was a wonderful experience at Red Rocker. The setting was beautiful with lovely fresh flower arrangements. The food was excellent and attractively served.
We had a chocolate cake and a coconut cream cake which were "out of this world."
The service however left much to be desired. Instead of asking for separate drink orders of each person the server stood at the end of the table and expected us to shout out what we wanted. It was 45" from the time the first until the last meal was served leaving many unsure of whether to begin and be impolite or eat cold food.
The hosts here are hospitable and helpful so I am hopeful that this service issue can be remedied.

You do not have to stay at the Red Rocker Inn to enjoy their fabulous meals. The menu features locally sourced items. The service is wonderful, served in a historic inn that captures the history as well as exceptional service. The food is excellent! Go early to make sure you get in - plus it is more quiet. Parking is somewhat limited.

We just went for dinner, and it was wonderful! The staff was so friendly and made us feel welcome even though we were running 15 minutes late. We didn't feel rushed or shamed. It was a relaxing dinner, and the food was delicious. Some of our party ordered the filet minion, one ordered fried chicken, and one ordered linguini. We had the brownie sundae and Key lime pie for dessert. We would definitely recommend the restaurant for a quiet dinner away from the crowds.

Besides the beautiful and quiet location, inside is spotless and well equipped. Beds were super comfy and best of all the staff was amazing.Highly recommended. We will be back!

Wow what can I say…. This place was amazing! We stayed in the Elizabeth’s Attic Suite. Was a bit of a climb but was beautiful with a comfortable King bed, large Tub and roomy walk in shower area. Quiet and relaxing location, we spent time on front porch sipping drinks and listening to birds.Breakfast was included and was off the menu of a grand selection of owners select and home recipes. We liked their hash brown casserole so much we convinced them to give us the recipe to share with our family. Eggs any style, fresh biscuits, apple butter, fruit, pancakes, crepes, simply amazing. We joined them for dinner, along with a group of locals that call for reservations at the highest ranked restaurant in Black Mountain. Yes it was that good as well! Red Rocker Inn takes pride in their meals and it shows!Nearby activities: Short drive to Builtmore Mansion

I called to make a reservation for brunch. Google has the weekend hours listed until 2pm. The man that answered the phone was very rude, stating they only serve breakfast and dinner and disinterested in providing any information. When I was going to ask more questions about brunch, which is advertised on their website, I got hung up on.

We visited BM and stayed at this B&B. Location, service, breakfast and hospitality - all made the stay so enjoyable. We enjoyed the stay and would come back next time in town. They also have a great bakery on site - Four Sisters Bakery.Rooms: We were in the first floor Music room which was perfect for us. No tv in the room but that was a nice change.Nearby activities: Shopping, food and drinks all within walking distance if don’t mind exercise. There is plenty of parking options in town.Safety: We felt safe in surrounding neighborhood.Walkability: Downtown BM is about 15 minute walk.Food & drinks: Breakfast was awesome each day.

Food & drinks: We ate dinner at the restaurant, the food was good but the service was a bit slow. Definitely recommend a reservation, we waited over half an hour to be seated despite nearly every table being empty
