Went for oysters and very disappointed. The shucker poured the juice out of shell so the VA points tasted bland. Had a few shell fragments which I was fine with. Only wish I'd had the full experience for 28.00 per dozen. Gumbo was delicious.
Always excellent service and food, & we’ve never been disappointed with Tayloe’s. Fried or raw - oysters are fresh & wonderful. Burger is fantastic. Redfish Hal & gumbo are so good! Truly, you can’t go wrong & we eat there every time we’re in town.
This has always been our go to restaurant, went the other night, while the food is still good the decor is sadly in need of a refresh, water stained menus, they give you 1 specials menu per table so you have to look at it 1 at a time and pass it on .Management seems to be absent, food runners don't seem to know which table the entrees go to. However the food is still good.
